Join community as we celebrate ten successful years of service on Grant street. Shakti Yoga, a cornerstone of the cultural and business revival on Buffalo’s West Side will celebrate its tenth anniversary on Grant Street with a Free Party on Saturday, January 25th at 7:00 PM. The evening will feature an exciting variety of Live Music including Swing Dance tunes from The Skiffle Minstrels, Brazilian Beats with Tiffany Nicely and Ringo Brill of Diaspora Drumming, Nelson Rivera’s Jazz Trio and Indian Grooves from Ravi Padmanabha’s Nada Brahma. West Side Food and Drink will be on hand thanks to Community Beer Works, Daniella Restaurant, What’s Pop-In Gourmet Popcorn and Shakti’s diverse team of teachers and students. There will also be Healing Services offered. Celebrating more than a Yoga Studio, Shakti’s enormous space the one hundred year old, converted bank at 133 Grant Street offers classes, lectures, community and spiritual gatherings, live music, dance, healing treatments, and travel retreats. In ten years, Shakti has become a center of culture on the West Side. |
