Thai massage is often considered a type of passive yoga. It's origins date back over 2500 years ago when it was first practiced by the Buddha's physician, Shivago Komarpaj. Today, the art of Thai massage is considered the traditional massage and healing modality throughout Thailand.

It focuses on muscle stretching, joint release, and the breath just as our yoga practice does. Benefits include increase in flexibility, joint mobility, organ massage, blood oxygenation, postural alignment, release of tension, and deep relaxation.

Thai massage is practiced on a floor mat with the client fully clothed and without oils.
