Relaxation/Integrative:
Massage
therapy designed for full body relaxation, improving circulation, increasing
range of motion, kinesthetic awareness through movement, incorporating some
shiatsu and deeper CTT and NMT. This type of massage can range from meditative
to energizing and is considered revitalizing. The use of essential oils is
optional.
1/2 hour = $40 %

Deep Tissue:
Massage
focused on a particular area of concern, such as a trauma, frozen joint or
repetitive motion injury; working specifically on synergistic and antagonistic
muscle groups to support healing. This type of massage is normally deep and
intense, but not painful. Follow-up stretches and other “homework” may be
offered.
1/2 hour =

Pre And Post-natal:
Booking 48 hours in advance and allowing for one hour
of massage time is recommended. $60 % = $50
*Hydration before
and especially after receiving massage therapy is recommended. If you need to
cancel an appointment a 24-48 hour notice is appreciated. Imbibing alcohol
prior to receiving massage therapy is forbidden.*

Bio:
Emily graduated from the Finger Lakes School of Massage in June of
2009. She works to relieve chronic pain and tension from injury, everyday
stress and repetitive motion syndromes. Her practice integrates deep Connective
Tissue Therapy with Neuro-Muscular Therapy, myofascial release, reflexology, Swedish, aromatherapy,
shiatsu and energetic relaxation techniques. She seeks to provide opportunities
for clients to relax into their unique healing experience. She works with the
guidance of presence, intention and communication as it creates a greater
awareness; introducing healthy and dynamic movements and sensation to the body
and mind. Her experiences include
working with clients in Alzheimer’s and dementia conditions, pre and post
natal, hydrotherapy, post-surgical, various forms of bursitis, sciatica,
rotator cuff trauma, whiplash and circumstances such as COPD and
diverticulitis.
